Mandatory Subjects
The core of mandatory subjects is made up of four subjects, which were formatted with the following objectives:
i) provide the master's student with tools for understanding and analyzing the functioning of the public sector from the perspective of four areas of knowledge that are complementary to each other (Administration, Political Science, Law and Economics);
ii) offer students a solid foundation of fundamental research methodologies and techniques for a rigorous study of Public Administration.

Areas of Interest
Additionally, the program offers more than 30 optional subjects, organized around 5 areas of interest. This organization aims to offer the student body a didactic and intelligible structure that allows students to learn about the different perspectives that make up the study agenda in the area.
Thus, the proposal is not to link the student to one of the areas of interest, but, on the contrary, to encourage them to move between them, studying different subjects, interacting with professors and having a sample of the countless research possibilities that meet their realities. professional and academic expectations.
It can be said, then, that the areas of interest of the Master's degree are complementary and interrelated, enabling teachers and students to work in an integrated manner in different research projects based on these different thematic areas. This structure enables the formation and consolidation of a diverse internal research network, in addition to allowing the movement of students between areas of interest, enabling, for example, that a student who is carrying out research on the topic of regulation can perfectly deepen knowledge and take courses on social development.
