A TEACHING PROGRAM BASED ON CASE STUDIES
AREAS OF
INTEREST
Case Studies
One of the main characteristics of MPAP is the teaching methodology, which, in addition to solid theoretical training, pays special attention to the analysis of case studies and practical applications of knowledge to public management.
In this way, the aim is to expose the student, from the first semester, to real examples of management techniques and innovative public policies implemented around the world.
Concentrated classes on Fridays and Saturdays
The subjects are offered in a concentrated format at the following times:
Friday
- 2:00 pm to 5:40 pm
- 6:30 pm to 10:00 pm
Saturday
- 9:00 am to 12:40 pm
- 2pm to 5:40pm
Following the regular flow, the student is expected to complete the course load in the first year of the Master's degree, with an average of 24 meetings of 2 days of class.

Course trajectory
A modern and integrated curriculum.
In many schools, Master's Programs are highly theoretical and specialized.
At IDP, it's not just about what students know, but what they do with that knowledge. We structure our curriculum to offer technical depth in the most relevant areas from the point of view of what students will do after completing their Master's degree.
In the first semester, we offer the student a solid foundation of disciplines in four main areas of knowledge necessary for an excellent professional in the public sector: Public Administration, Law, Economics and Research Methodology
In the following semesters, students have complete freedom to choose the subjects that interest them most, both from an academic and professional point of view.
Check out his learning trajectory at IDP:
1st Semester
In the first semester, students take basic mandatory subjects in the areas of Public Administration, Law, Economics and Research Methodology.
2nd Semester
In the second semester, students take optional courses of their choice from the different areas of interest offered in the Master's degree (public policies, government management, regulation, control and combating corruption and management of the judiciary). Research Methodology studies continue, which will culminate in the preparation of your Dissertation Project.
3rd Semester
In the third semester, students continue to take optional subjects. With the delivery of the Project at the end of the 2nd semester, the guidance activity begins by one of the Master's permanent professors.
4th Semester
For students who follow the regular flow, there are no more subjects to be taken. Thus, the 4th Semester is entirely dedicated to the preparation and defense of the Master's Thesis.
international agreements
The IDP establishes agreements with foreign universities and institutes to give students the opportunity to experience periods of international studies and research. The agreements signed by IDP allow entry to more than 15 educational institutions in around 6 different countries. Check out some partner institutions and programs carried out!
