WHAT IS THE

SCHOOL OF METHODS?

The IDP School of Methods is an initiative aimed at the methodological training of researchers in social sciences and related areas, focusing on master's and doctoral students. Its main objective is to provide solid theoretical and practical knowledge for carrying out empirical research with high scientific rigor. The School of Methods covers the study of quantitative and qualitative research methodologies with courses taught by professors from IDP and other institutions of excellence in Brazil and abroad.

HOW DO I REGISTER?

The courses are entirely free and offered every six months. Publicity is carried out at least 1 month in advance on our website. The courses are open to the entire interested community, allowing students, teachers and researchers from any higher education institutions in Brazil and abroad to register. In case of excess demand, priority is given to IDP stricto sensu students.

WHAT ARE THE OFFER MODALITIES?

The courses are offered in person and online. The online courses are subsequently made available to the entire community on the School's website. For those who obtain 100% attendance, it is possible to request a certificate of completion. Online courses already taken are recorded and made available, upon demand, only to IDP stricto sensu students.
