Since 2019, IDP and the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa) have worked together to promote joint initiatives for teaching, research and extension in the area of Public Management. In July 2023, this partnership reached a new level, with the signing of a Cooperation Agreement for the joint implementation of a Specialized Training Program in Management and Public Policies.
Through this Program
Teachers and students from IDP's Stricto Sensu Programs will have access to an Exclusive Class of the Master's in Management and Public Policies at ISCSP-ULisboa. This opens up a unique and exclusive opportunity for IDP Master's and Doctorate students, who will be able, during the regular completion period of their program, to obtain an international degree: Master in Management and Public Policy from the University of Lisbon, title valid throughout the European community.

How the cooperation program works
Teachers and students from IDP's Stricto Sensu (Master's and Doctorate) programs will be able to apply, between June 10th and July 15th , 2024, for the Exclusive Class of the Master's in Management and Public Policies at ISCSP-ULisboa.
Access the Notice →The subjects taken at ULisboa can be used as optional subjects in the IDP Master's Programs (criteria vary and can be checked with the Coordination of the respective program).
The course will be taught in an intensive format, with classes concentrated in two modules of 3 intensive weeks in January 2025 in Lisbon and 3 intensive weeks in July in Brasília. The first of these modules will be taught at the headquarters of the University of Lisbon. in Portugal. The second of these modules will be taught at the IDP headquarters, in Brasília. All subjects in the Master's Program in Management and Public Policies at ISCSP-ULisboa will be taught during these two periods.
The total duration of the ISCSP Program is 2 (two) years. IDP Master's students who are approved in the Lisbon Program will have their maximum period for completing the program at IDP extended by up to 1 year, at no additional cost.
Successful completion of the Program implies the approval of all subjects, in addition to the defense of dissertation work under the guidance of a professor from ULisboa and a professor from IDP. The same work may be accepted into the student's home program at IDP. the regulatory rules are complied with.
18 places will be offered under the Program. ULisboa will be responsible for the final selection of students.
