Financial market certifications
ANBIMA is the Brazilian association of Financial and Capital Markets entities and represents Brazilian capital market institutions, such as commercial, multiple and investment banks, asset management companies, brokers, securities distributors and wealth managers.
It is also the main certifier of professionals in the financial and capital markets in Brazil.
Four exams are offered. They are:
CPA-10
The ANBIMA Professional Certificate series 10 is intended to certify that professionals who carry out marketing activities and investment products directly with the investing public at bank branches. It is ANBIMA's most basic certification.
CPA-20
The ANBIMA series 20 professional certificate is intended to certify professionals who carry out commercialization and distribution activities of investment products directly with qualified investors, as well as agency managers serving the private, corporate, and institutional investor segments.
CEA
The ANBIMA investment specialist certificate is the most complex and considered the most important on the subject. With it, the professional can carry out activities of those who have the CPA-10 and CPA-20, just as those who have CPA-20 can carry out activities more common to CPA-10. In addition to these three, ANBIMA has three more certifications, but they require experience in the market, different from the three mentioned. Having these certifications, the chances of obtaining professional opportunities in financial institutions increase considerably, as they attest to prior knowledge on the subject.
