Specialization Tracks

Leaders choose their own paths. That is why, at IDP, students have complete freedom of choice to decide the fields of knowledge in which they wish to specialize.

The IDP Economics Degree is structured around 4 Specialization Tracks :

Quantitative and Economic Fundamentals

Business Analytics and Big Data

Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Management and Public Policies

Each track has three components:

Basic Cycle

The basic cycle covers the first two years of the Undergraduate course and aims to provide all students with a solid foundation of knowledge in each of the learning paths. This common basis is the same for Administration and Economics courses, which facilitates a future double degree.

Specific Cycle

The specific cycle covers the third year of the course and consists of in-depth subjects in the respective training area. In the case of the Degree in Economics, the focus is on Economic Fundamentals and Business Analytics and Big Data subjects.

Specialization/Professional Complementation Cycle

The specialization cycle, which covers the fourth year of the course, is made up of elective courses and practical professional complementation activities. In this cycle, the student will have complete freedom to explore and delve deeper into the areas that interest them most from an academic and professional point of view.
