Track 4 – Management and Public Policies

This trail is based on the challenges faced by the Public Power in promoting economic and social development. It is a study space dedicated to the processes of formulation, implementation, monitoring and evaluation of public policies and social programs. The main objective is to provide students with theoretical and practical tools that allow them to think about and effectively implement new public policies, in addition to critically evaluating and modernizing existing policies and programs.

Job Market

The job market in Brasília has always had and will have the public career as a fundamental branch. Track 4 aims to prepare students who wish to pursue a successful public career, working, for example, with the formulation and evaluation of public policies in the areas of education, health, public security, environment, combating poverty. The job market in the public sector in Brasília is quite broad and very diverse, covering Ministries, Regulatory Agencies, Public Banks, Research Institutes, Chamber of Deputies, Federal Senate, Control Body, among others. Furthermore, Brasília offers an important insertion in the international job market, through the various representations of international institutions, such as the UN, WHO, WTO, World Bank, IMF, among others.
