A MASTER'S DEGREE FOCUSED ON THE
LABOR MARKET
The market has increasingly demanded qualified professionals, with analytical and practical vision.
One of the main characteristics of MCD is the teaching methodology, which, in addition to solid theoretical training, pays special attention to the analysis of case studies and the resolution of practical problems related to the creation, management, monitoring and evaluation of strategies of digital communication.
Furthermore, face-to-face meetings occur monthly and are concentrated on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays, in order to allow the participation of professionals who seek to combine their participation in the master's degree with professional practice.

Classes for the IDP Digital Communication Master's Degree are monthly, taking place on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

The main differentiator of the MCD is, certainly, the qualification of the teaching staff , made up of teachers who, in addition to standing out for their high and diverse academic qualifications ( 100% of teachers with a PhD ), are also characterized by a consolidated professional trajectory in the most different areas of Communication.
This is a fundamental aspect of the program, as it allows students to expose, analyze and discuss with students the ways of applying the theoretical tools exposed in each of the disciplines to the reality of Communication in public and private institutions, which accentuates the training nature course professional.

The Program has 4 Areas of Interest, which allow students from different backgrounds to delve into useful knowledge for their academic and professional careers.
The student has complete freedom to move between the 4 areas , choosing the subjects that seem most interesting for their career and for their academic and personal life.
NEUROSCIENCE, DIGITAL MARKETING AND CONSUMER BEHAVIOR
Area I offers an interdisciplinary analysis of the interactions between brain processes, digital marketing strategies and consumer actions. Combining recent advances in neuroscience with the emerging dynamics of digital marketing, this line of research aims to elucidate the brain mechanisms that influence consumer decisions in the digital environment.
DIGITAL COMMUNICATION, JOURNALISM AND POLITICAL MARKETING
Area II focuses on the strategic role of digital technologies in conducting political and electoral campaigns. The research is dedicated to studying the use of digital communication strategies and platforms in organizing campaigns, evaluating how they influence public perception and the outcome of elections.
DIGITAL COMMUNICATION APPLIED TO THE PUBLIC SECTOR
Area III focuses on the study of digital communication practices and strategies within the public sector. This line of research focuses on analyzing how government and public institutions adopt and adapt digital communication technologies to improve transparency, efficiency and citizen participation.
JOURNALISM, TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION
The area of interest “Journalism, Technology and Innovation” investigates the impact of new technologies on the theory and practice of journalism. This research emphasizes the analysis of how technological innovations are reshaping the collection, processing and dissemination of journalistic information.
INTERNATIONAL TITLE
The University of Lisbon (ULisboa) is the largest University in Portugal and one of the largest in Europe. Located in the heart of the city, it offers its entire community one of the best and most diverse training offers and promises to be a unique enriching experience.
In 2023, IDP signed an international agreement with the Higher Institute of Social and Political Sciences of the University of Lisbon (ISCSP-ULisboa) that gives our Master's and Doctorate students exclusive access to the Master's in Management and Public Policies at ISCSP-ULisboa. This opens up a unique and exclusive opportunity for students of the IDP Stricto Sensu Programs, who will be able, during the regular completion period of their program, to also obtain an international degree: Master in Management and Public Policies from the University of Lisbon – title valid throughout the European community.
