Track 3 - Entrepreneurship and Innovation

Entrepreneurship cannot be learned in a book, in a class, in a lecture. Entrepreneurship is a set of skills that is developed through theory and practice and that will allow you to be successful regardless of the career you choose. Entrepreneurship is not about creating companies; It's about solving problems. And, therefore, it is one of the most demanded skills in the current job market. At IDP, you will be immersed in a highly entrepreneurial environment every day and will develop the skills – emotional and rational – of a successful entrepreneur.

To this end, topics such as entrepreneurial stance, innovation process and identification of opportunities, business plan, corporate finance and financial market, strategic marketing, digital business , among others, are analyzed. Much of the content in the area is developed in activities with a large practical component and case studies, through the subjects of the “Business Laboratory” course.

Job Market

Training in Entrepreneurship and Innovation enables the student both to become the owner of their own business – being, in this condition, responsible for managing all the company's activities (strategy, finance, marketing, commercial, among others) – and to lead different areas in existing companies. The focus of the track training is the development of skills related to recognizing and solving problems, strategic thinking, creativity and the ability to implement innovations, particularly in a context characterized by constant change.
