IDP's Administration and Economics courses are well integrated from the beginning. The first two years bring a common conceptual basis to both courses, focusing on economic and management fundamentals and programming languages and big data.
This common base gives students two very attractive options. Firstly, students who have doubts about which career to pursue need not worry and can wait until the beginning of the third year to decide whether to pursue a degree in Administration or Economics.
Furthermore, the IDP allows students to opt for a double degree. That is, with just over a year of study, the student can leave with two undergraduate degrees: one in Administration and the other in Economics.
The Double Degree in Administration and Economics was designed in three steps:
1st and 2nd Years
In the first two years, don't worry: just take the basic cycle subjects, which are common to both courses.
3rd and 4th Years
At the beginning of the 3rd year, you will choose the first degree you would like to study! You must take the subjects of the Specific Cycle of one of the two Degrees: Administration or Economics. In the 4th year, you must choose 6 electives, in addition to the TCC and Supervised Internship subjects. Feel free to choose the electives that suit you best! At the end of the year, you will already have your first diploma!
5th Year
Ready! It's time to finish your second degree. To do this, you must take the subjects of the Specific Cycle of the degree that you have not yet taken (if you chose in the 3rd year to take the Administration subjects, it is time to take the Economics subjects – and vice versa) and 2 more elective subjects . Ready! You will have your second degree!
