Group proposal

The research group “Civil Procedure in the light of the 1988 Federal Constitution” aims to promote debates regarding controversial issues arising from the constitutional perspective on the 2015 Civil Procedure Code. The research will preferably be carried out around new issues and/ or controversies, resulting from the understanding and application of new institutes brought by the CPC. The debate and, as questions are raised, the resulting academic-scientific production are the central objective of the study group. Research will be developed based on the doctrine – classic and contemporary – of Civil Procedural Law and Constitutional Law and the interpretation given by the Superior Courts to the new procedural legislation.
