Legislative Consultant to the Federal Senate in the area of economics. Professor of the Masters in Public Administration at IDP. Graduated in Chemical Engineering from the Federal University of Bahia (UFBA). Master in Administration from UFBA. PhD in Administration from UFBA (2004) with a research internship at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC). He worked as a Planning and Research Technician at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA) between 2009 and 2014. He was an Adjunct Professor at the University of Brasília (UnB). He has experience in the areas of regional development, science, technology and innovation policies and finance, in which he has published several books and journals.
