He has a degree in Legal and Social Sciences from the Federal University of Santa Maria (UFSM) and a degree in Social Communication - Journalism also from UFSM. She has a master's degree in Law from the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC), where she was a Capes scholarship holder. She has a PhD in law from the Federal University of Paraná (UFPR), with a sandwich internship at the Facoltà di Giurisprudenza of the Università di Bologna, in Italy, with a PDSE scholarship. /CAPES. He completed a post-doctoral internship in criminology at the Universitat de Barcelona (UB), with a PDE/CAPES scholarship. He works in teaching and research in the area of Law, with an emphasis on Criminology, Criminal Law, and Criminal Procedural Law. She is currently an assistant professor of criminal law and criminal procedural law at the UFSC legal sciences center. Coordinator of the research group Power, control and social damage. The research area has been developed in two main fields of criminology: the relationship between crime and the media; green criminology. She is the coordinator of Infovirus: prisons and pandemic observatory.
