Roberta Moreira Wichmann

Consultant for the World Bank.
Consultant at the World Bank, researcher at the Big Data and Predictive Analysis in Health Laboratory at USP and researcher at the Health Evidence Center at the University of Brasília, where she was also a visiting professor. Roberta was a consultant in the area of health technology assessment, knowledge management and economic evaluation at the Ministry of Health. She has a Master's degree in Economics and a PhD in Applied Economics from the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul with a Post-Doctorate in Health Economics from USP. In recent years, he has developed research in applied econometrics, health economics, economic evaluations, evidence-informed public policies and economic policies. She was recently awarded in the “Innovation in Prevention” category of the Abril & Dasa Medical Innovation Award as a member of the winning project IACOV-BR: Artificial Intelligence for Covid-19 in Brazil, a project that develops artificial intelligence algorithms (machine learning) to predict events related to covid-19 in the five Brazilian regions.
