Master in Political Science from the Federal University of Minas Gerais (2004) and graduated in Public Administration from Fundação João Pinheiro (2001). Researcher at the Institute for Applied Economic Research (IPEA), since 2009. Visiting researcher (postdoctoral) at the Center for Sociology of Organizations at Sciences Po (2015-2016) and at the Watson Institute Brown University (2015). Develops research on topics such as implementation of public policies, state capabilities, social participation and state-society relations. He is a professor of the Professional Masters in Public Administration at IDP.
