Suely Mara Vaz Guimarães de Araújo
PhD in Political Science.
Former President of IBAMA. Senior Specialist in Public Policies at the Climate Observatory.
Urban planner and lawyer. He holds a degree in Architecture and Urbanism from the University of Brasília (1984) and in Law from the Centro de Ensino Unificado de Brasília (1997). Master (2007) and PhD (2013) in political science from the University of Brasília, with research in the areas of public policy and legislative studies. Retired Legislative Consultant from the Chamber of Deputies (Feb. 1991 - Feb. 2020), working in the areas of environment and environmental law, urban planning and urban planning law. Senior specialist in public policies at the Climate Observatory. Full collaborator researcher and volunteer professor at the Institute of Political Science at the University of Brasília (Ipol/UnB). Professor of the master's degree in public administration and the law degree at the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research (IDP). He was President of the Brazilian Institute of the Environment and Renewable Natural Resources - Ibama (2016/2018).
