Course syllabus
Superior supervisory bodies. Evolution of external control of
administration and public policies by the courts of accounts. Overview of the relationship between the audit courts and the public administration. Functions, competencies, attributions, jurisdiction, procedural aspects. Audits and evaluation of public policies. Monitoring public finances. Fighting corruption. Relationships with the Legislative Branch and with direct and indirect administration entities, and with other control institutions. Complexities, criticisms and perspectives of the administration's relations with the courts of auditors and between these and public policies.
Course objectives
Promote the expansion and verticalization of knowledge of the multiple dimensions of the administration's relationship and public policies with the Institution Court of Auditors, superior supervisory entity, with emphasis on controversial, legal and operational aspects, in order to improve and rationalize Understanding its functions and relevance in the organization and functioning of the Brazilian State, and its interactions with powers, with other institutions of constitutional stature, and with society.

Course syllabus
The subject focuses on analysis and reflection on the processes that promote methodological support to establish the best direction to be followed by organizations. To achieve this objective, the following are addressed:
(i) the cyclical decision-making process that is based on the interpretation of a dynamic flow of information,
(ii) the determination of desired future states, iii) the choice of alternative strategies and the strategic use of information; and
(iv) the use of techniques aimed at diagnosing and monitoring scenarios.
Course objectives
The purpose of the course is to develop professionals from the most diverse areas of knowledge, familiarizing them with the dynamics involving business intelligence processes, prospecting and analysis of scenarios, reflection and identification of possible solutions and analysis of risks to support decision making.
In this way, the discipline offers models and presents techniques that enable the practice of recognizing challenges and forces in order to visualize solutions, in addition to identifying and establishing paths for the construction of planning aimed at future visions considering the monitoring of the objectives to be achieved in the short, medium and long term.
At the end of the course, students should be able to:
- Understand the dynamics and lead the planning process focusing on the analysis and prospecting of scenario;
- Acting in organizational risk management, identifying and treating opportunities and threats in order to substantiate decision -making process at a strategic, tactical and operational level.
- Prepare strategies and monitor global planning, providing the unfolding of the strategy.
