Located in Asa Sul of Brasília, IDP has its headquarters in a six-story building, with modern facilities designed to serve people with special needs. The classrooms are large, there are also rooms for individual studies and research groups — all equipped, comfortable and with internet access.

In 2015, the IDP opened an auditorium that hosts major congresses, seminars and lectures that it holds, along with an ambivalent space for various cultural activities. With capacity for 250 people, the new auditorium was carefully designed to have perfect acoustics.
The IDP has two laboratories, one for IT with 30 computers, and the other for audiovisual with technical training to record academic events and hold exhibitions. This audiovisual laboratory has a recording studio, reception and live transmission of classes, meetings and other academic activities. It also has a virtual monitoring, tutoring and remote monitoring system.

With the aim of meeting the diverse research demands regarding Administration, Communication, Law, Economics, Journalism and Advertising, the IDP library has a very rich collection. There are around 22 thousand documents, including books, dictionaries, encyclopedias, special collections, scientific journals and other reference works.
