With the advancement of new technologies and the arrival of new startups focused on the development of the agribusiness sector, the demand for professionals in the area has grown substantially, according to consultancy Michael Page.
Compared to 2019, the agribusiness segment grew 2% , amid a 4.1% drop in Gross Domestic Product (GDP), according to IBGE. And, later this year, Brazilian agricultural production is expected to reach a total of 264.9 million tons , representing an increase of 4.2% compared to 2020.
With this significant growth, companies have sought to reinforce their teams with professionals specialized in the agricultural market and who are capable of leading large projects . According to consultancy Michael Page, in 2020, there was a 30% increase in the hiring of senior executives.
The current agribusiness scenario ends up favoring the growth of new businesses and the hiring of more experienced professionals to manage new projects.
