Calls for proposals for statements are now open by the Center for Judicial Studies of the Federal Justice Council (CEJ/CJF)

Calls are open for proposals for statements by the Center for Judicial Studies of the Federal Justice Council (CEJ/CJF), to be analyzed during the IX Civil Law Conference.
A novelty of the IX edition is the inclusion, for the first time, of digital law themes, through the Digital Law and New Rights Commission, which will be chaired by minister Ricardo Villas Bôas Cueva, from the STJ and will feature the participation of professors Laura Schertel Mendes and Danilo Doneda, alongside federal judge Caroline Tauk. “For the first time, we have a group dedicated to digital law, which encompasses very important contemporary topics, such as the protection of personal data, the use of artificial intelligence, smart contracts, cryptocurrencies, digital inheritance, the shared economy and others” , says Cueva.
The day will take place on May 19th and 20th of this year, in the CJF auditorium, in Brasília.
Anyone interested in contributing to the discussions should send proposals using the form available on the CJF Portal .
