Cedis opens selection for researchers in artificial intelligence and data protection

The Center for Law, Internet and Society (CEDIS), of the Brazilian Institute of Teaching, Development and Research (IDP), opened a notice for the selection of researchers to integrate their study team on artificial intelligence, personal data protection and regulation of ecosystems digital. Entries run until February 26th .
Vacancies and bags
The announcement includes seven vacancies to act in a 20 -hour weekly , with an initial duration of 12 months, and may be renewed . The scholarships offered vary according to the level of titration:
- 1 vacancy for Doctor - Scholarship of R $ 4,000.00 ;
- 3 vacancies for masters/doctoral students - scholarship of R $ 3,000.00 ;
- 3 vacancies for graduates/masters - Scholarship of R $ 2,000.00 .
Fellows should participate in face -to -face activities aligned with the project coordinator, but IDP will not bear displacements from residents from other cities.
Researcher's assignments
The selected will act in research on topics such as regulating artificial intelligence and social networks , as well as the application of the General Data Protection Law (LGPD) in Brazilian jurisprudence. Activities include:
- Development of Studies and Research on Digital Law;
- Critical analysis of court decisions related to the area;
- Research on regulatory trends in the digital ecosystem;
- Review of specialized bibliography and empirical research;
- Production of reports, academic articles and disclosure materials;
- Organization of events and lectures.
Application Requirements
law, economy, political science, technology or related areas can apply . Prior experience in academic projects and knowledge about personal data protection and artificial intelligence will be differential in the selection process.
