CEDIS PUBLISHES DOSSIERS ON DATA PROTECTION AND ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE
In commemoration of data protection day - January 28th, CEDIS/IDP makes available in full on its page the two dossiers on data protection published by the IDP Public Law Magazine.
The dossiers aim to discuss the importance of data protection to promote the free flow of information in the market, by increasing legal security in data processing and consolidating citizens' trust in information society services.
Articles with the following focuses were selected for publication: i) Federative model, institutional arrangement and legal security in the application of the LGPD; ii) Protection of personal data and antitrust law: differences and convergences iii) How to guarantee the effectiveness of the rights provided for in the LGPD? iv) Artificial intelligence, ethics and data protection; v) International data flow: institutional and regulatory challenges.
The publications present current themes with the potential to generate new discussions in the scientific field of law, in addition to expressing the need for reflection on the consequences of the use and processing of personal data in a data-driven economy, in which challenges arise in the present time .
