The Center for Law, Internet and Society-CEDIS of the Brazilian Institute of Education, Development and Research (IDP), coordinated by professor Laura Schertel Mendes, publishes a notice for the selection of volunteer researchers for the IDP Privacy Lab project.

The Project arises within the scope of the “Data Protection and Fundamental Rights” research line and will have as its object of study, throughout 2023, the decisions of Brazilian Courts on topics related to the LGPD. The activities are scheduled to begin in May 2023 and meetings will be held to discuss and deepen the topic, to update the LGPD Panel in the Courts. The fortnightly meetings will be synchronous online, on Mondays from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.

Undergraduate or Postgraduate students from IDP or other educational institutions can register, from any course, as long as they demonstrate interest in studying topics related to the protection of personal data and privacy.
