The groups develop traditional and contemporary approaches in different areas of knowledge, dealing with topics such as social development, economic development, creative economy, public policies, business management, citizenship, democracy and freedom. Current political and socioeconomic issues, such as bioethics, big data and the challenges of the information society, are other points analyzed.
Research groups are an invitation to reflection and the practical application of knowledge by IDP students and teachers. Together with the study group, they make up the IDP Research Center – CEPES and its main objective is to integrate knowledge.
To encourage academic debate, research and studies are turned into publications that disseminate what is being thought and produced by CEPES. In addition, there are lectures, seminars, scientific initiation weeks, extension activities and social responsibility actions.
The research involves Law, Public Administration and Economics, so that reflections and work are carried out based on the practical focus of knowledge. The research groups, together with the study groups, make up CEPES and work on the integration of knowledge.
