On June 4, 2018, at 10 am, Minister Gilmar Mendes (Minister of the STF), Dr. Daniela Teixeira (Vice-President of the OAB/DF), Professor Cristiane Damasceno (Counselor of the OAB/DF and professor at the Brasiliense Institute of Public Law) and 13 IDP students (undergraduate, postgraduate and master's students).

The objective of the visit was to deliver kits with personal hygiene items (towel, shampoo and conditioner) to 150 prisoners. These items were collected through a fundraising campaign, led by professor Cristiane Damasceno, who is also responsible for the research group "Prison System and Fundamental Guarantees" at IDP.

Among several other demands that the prison has, the choice to deliver personal hygiene kits was made with the aim of preserving the dignity of those women who are incarcerated.
