Luciano Da Ros | assistant professor at the Department of Sociology and Political Science at the Federal University of Santa Catarina (UFSC). He has a PhD in Political Science from the University of Illinois and a Masters in Political Science from UFRGS. He completed his postdoctoral studies at UFRGS and was an adjunct professor in the Department of Political Science at that University. He works as a researcher at the Center for Studies on Behavior and Political Institutions and in the Comparative Political Institutions Research Group at UFRGS.
Matthew Taylor | tenured professor and Academic Director of the School of International Service, American University. He has been a visiting professor at the Woodrow Wilson Center for International Affairs and a Senior Fellow at the Council on Foreign Affairs. Taylor also worked in Brazil for more than a decade, where he was a tenured professor in the Political Science department at the University of São Paulo between 2006 and 2011.
