Proposal:
This mini-course aims to demonstrate the recognition of the cultural and institutional diversity of indigenous peoples, addressing the challenges that arise both in the practical application of law and in the theoretical analysis of state legal systems. Hans Kelsen's theory of law and democracy will be central to the discussion.
Course Dynamics:
Four presentations of 45 minutes each will be held, followed by debates with experts on the topic (around 90 minutes per panel).
