CARLOS EDUARDO GASPARINI
Doctor in Economics.
Planning and Budget Analyst currently assigned to the Federal Public Defender's Office.
Master and PhD in Economics from the Federal University of Pernambuco (UFPE). He is a planning and budget analyst currently working at the Federal Public Defender's Office, at the Ministry of Economy, the professor has previously served as Coordinator of fiscal studies and General Coordinator of public policy evaluation at the Federal Budget Secretariat – SOF. It is transferred to the Federal Public Defender's Office, after passing through the Independent Fiscal Institution of the Federal Senate. As a university professor, he taught undergraduate, specialization, master's and doctorate courses at public and private institutions, such as: UDF, UCB, UFPB, IBMEC, IDP, ENAP and ILB. He has several works published in specialized journals, conferences, books and book chapters. He received 1st Place in the VI Banco do Nordeste Prize for Regional Economy (2001) and 1st Place in the VIII National Treasury Prize (2003). In 2017, he launched the book “Plurianuality Budget in Brazil – diagnosis, directions and challenges”.
