He has a degree in Economic Sciences from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora, a postgraduate degree in Computational Statistical Methods from the Federal University of Juiz de Fora / Pontifical Catholic University of Rio de Janeiro, a master's degree in Economics from the Fluminense Federal University and a doctorate in Economics from the University of Brasília with a doctoral internship at Columbia University (2011-2012). Legislative advisor. He was Secretary of Evaluation, Planning, Energy and Lottery at the Ministry of Economy. He has experience in the area of Economics, with an emphasis on Macroeconomics and Econometrics, working mainly on the following topics: Monetary Policy, Inflation Targets, Interest Rates, Central Bank, Credibility, Reputation, Credit Risk, Banking Regulation and Sovereign Risk Assessment.
