The first places of IDP Juris embark on Lima this January to participate in the Harvard National Model of United Nations-Latin America 2019 (HNMUN-LA), the biggest international simulation of the UN. The event will take place between January 17 and 20 in the capital of Peru.

Students Luiza Berti, Letícia Ferreira, Maria Luiza Morato and Giovana Oliveira came first in the IDP Juris Committees and were awarded entry, accommodation and tickets to HNMUN-LA 2019.

Student Giovana Oliveira, who came first in the STF Committee, says that IDP Juris was an educational and enriching experience. “I thought it was a wonderful experience. I had already participated in other simulations, but I found the IDP to be much more organized. The people who were coordinating the committees were very good, they explained everything very clearly and answered questions, helping the participants a lot”, comments Giovana, a third-year high school student.

The student embarks on HNMUN-LA this January with great expectations. “I believe it will be an incredible experience, in which I will be able to meet people from many other countries. In the committee that I will participate in, all discussions will be in English, so I hope it will be a different and challenging simulation”, concludes the student.

The IDP is proud of all IDP Juris participants and is eager to find out what the experience of participating in Harvard National Model of United Nations - Latin America will be like. Good trip, guys.
