[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Debating and defending the right to voice and visibility of minorities and marginalized groups has been a recurring objective in the work of IDP research and study groups and in teaching and extension activities promoted at the institution .

In order to bring together these initiatives and build a collaboration network between teachers, students and collaborators, the institute's schools created Laudelina – Interdisciplinary Center for Leadership and Diversity.

The center seeks to plan and support initiatives that promote diversity and leadership, as well as promote and encourage the creation of new projects aimed at the internal public and the community.

The choice of the name was a way of honoring a black woman, a pioneer in the fight for the rights of domestic workers in Brazil: Laudelina de Campos Melo.

Soon, the project will hold a series of lectures to mark the beginning of its activities.
