IDP and UFRN promote exchanges between students
Students from both institutions will pass the first semester at the chosen university.
The IDP, in partnership with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte - UFRN, is promoting an exchange between Law students from the two faculties in the first semester of 2019. The objective of the exchange is to promote academic mobility for students, allowing interaction with other institutions, participating in subjects, extension projects and research groups at the chosen faculties, thus expanding their vision of Law.
IDP education specialist, Lahis Rosa, explains the importance of this type of experience for law graduates. “ The mobility program is important for the growth of the institution’s academic community. Our knowledge networks are oxygenated by the perspectives of the students we receive and by the new perspectives developed by our students during the exchange ”, explains the Professor.
For IDP student, Matheus de Moura, who will spend the semester at UFRN, this experience is very enriching. “Leaving the comfort zone prepares us for the difficulties of professional life, post-college, and learning to deal with adversity helps in the student’s personal and professional development. Although Brasília is already a hub for law, networking outside of it is important, as it opens up new professional (and academic) possibilities, especially for those who want to practice law. It’s a difference from other students because it takes the student out of the college-internship-college pattern”, explains the student.
UFRN student Bruno Oliveira is one of the exchange students who will spend the semester at IDP and comments that the institution offers many possibilities and wants to make the most of them. “In all areas of teaching, research and extension IDP has a differential to offer that I intend to enjoy. A different view of the direct direct with the understanding of the higher courts, since in IDP faculty has several ministers and advisors to ministers, lawyers, prosecutors, prosecutors and public defenders who work in these courts. A support outside the classroom Differentiated, for all the way IDP addresses the OAB, with the OAB project and the special topic classes, as well as for the aid in career planning which is also a differential. Not to mention the research and study groups that are numerous, ”explains the student. IDP already has a history of providing its students to national and international experiences, having already forwarded more than 30 undergraduate, postgraduate and master's degree students through their appreciation in this type of experience among their students and partnerships with institutions International renown in countries such as Spain, Italy, Portugal, the United States and recently China.
