IDP closes partnership with UFRN
IDP closed another partnership, this time with the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte. The partnership, which began on October 30th, will promote study exchanges between the Institutions, taking two IDP students to Natal in its first year and receiving two Potiguares students at the Central-West Institution. Candidate selections were finalized last Friday, December 7th.
The person responsible for the partnership was IDP PhD student and Professor, Izabela Patriota. The teacher explains that this type of exchange promotes an enriching change of perspective between students and institutions. “The Exchange offers different points of view from teachers and students, since the student leaves their home institution, and certain consensuses that exist in that place, and comes across other realities, such as the opinions of other teachers, the perspective of the student changes”, explains the Teacher.
For the Teacher, the selected student must have a proactive personality. “We evaluate the profile of proactive students, who are not used to the status quo and are here to enrich and grow together with the Institution, concludes the professor.
IDP seeks to encourage and support its undergraduate, postgraduate and master's students to undertake exchanges during their courses, having partnerships with more than 15 national and international institutions, such as Roma Tre University, the University of Granada and George Mason University.
