IDP event with Roma Tre University is organized at the Brazilian Embassy in Italy
IDP and the Italian Roma University organized an event at the Brazilian Embassy in Rome. The seminar took place on December 12 and aimed to honor the 30th anniversary of the Brazilian Constitution and the 70 years of the Italian Constitution, bringing students closer to IDP and their Italian university colleagues.
For Professor Marcelo do Val the event was intended to strengthen the ties between the institutions and their students. “Having this type of event hosted at the Brazilian Embassy in Rome is very significant and honorable. It reveals the prestige of the IDP with public institutions, the aptitude for the academic debate equally with great foreign teachers, and the opportunity to the participants an academic-cultural experience without precedents in any other higher education institution in Brazil, notably inside From one of the most important Brazilian embassies ”, concludes the doctor.
IDP students Marcos Henrique, Gabriel dos Santos, Guilherme Mendes, Monique Miranda, Scarlett Victória Marques, Miriam Rocha, Giovana Pereira, Luisa Medeiros and Larissa Borges are currently in Rome carrying out the exchange between IDP and the University of Roma Tre and attended also to the event that took place at the embassy.
IDP postgraduate student, Scarlett Victória Marques, comments that the event allowed a better understanding of the historical moment in which the constitution was created. “The immersion in Italian society and the study of its constitution contributes to the understanding of the course we are taking here in Rome, in addition to the comparison between the histories of the two constitutions, which makes clear the historical context where everything occurred”, explains the student.
IDP has several partnerships with internationally recognized universities, such as Roma Tre University, University of Granada, George Mason School, University of Lisbon, Faculty of Law of Nova Lisboa, and provides its students with exchanges and academic courses abroad.
