IDP Experience invades IDP Friday
Event seeks to bring students closer to high school, with current topics in law and worldwide.
This Friday, April 15th, IDP opens its newest project: IDP Experience. The event aims to introduce high school students to the academic environment, through immersive experiences, with current and innovative themes, all done in a relaxed learning environment. All IDP Experience meetings will be free and will take place from March to July 2019.
The first meeting will discuss Lava-jato, where facts, arguments and future challenges of the operation will be discussed with a professional who worked in the process. Four current themes in Brazilian and global Criminal Law will also be discussed, such as the prison system, over-incarceration, drugs and weapons possession.
For the Coordinator of the IDP Experience project, Daniel Prates, the experience is unmissable for students leaving high school. “ We are sure that the IDP Experience will add to the student's training and will bring them closer to the legal issues of the present and the future , being useful not only to better understand the field of law, but also the impact of technology and innovation on our lives. And what’s more, all of this, through a relaxed and innovative approach, as our time demands”, comments Daniel.
