IDP launches course on Law, Technology and STF
IDP will launch another executive education course with the theme “Law, Technology and STF”, with the classes scheduled for the end of April. The event seeks to understand the main topics of constitutional law in respect of the technology that are on the agenda in the Federal Supreme Court.
The course classes will be attended by qualified professionals, such as the Post-doctor in Law and Democracy and Legislative Consultant at the Chamber of Deputies, Guilherme Pereira Pinheiro and the Doctor in economics and Specialist Consultant in Legislation and Banking Regulation, Banking Law, Business Law, Economic Law and Consumer Protection, Luiz Humberto Veiga. The professors, in addition to being professionals who work directly in cases of national relevance regarding Law and Technology, are leading researchers in these areas, with texts and books published on the topic.
For the Project Coordinator, Alexandre Sanvieckz, the lawyer who has no knowledge on this topic is already out of date. “Decisions made by the judiciary can significantly impact the exercise of fundamental rights and innovation. Problems involving law and technology are already part of reality. These are no longer topics for which lawyers need to prepare for the future,” explains the Professor.
Course topics include the Right to be Forgotten, Cryptography and Application Blocking, Regulation of Internet Providers, Fintechs and Labor Relations on the Internet
