Course is open for all law degrees

This May, IDP brings together a renowned team of in-house teachers to carry out the “Current Law” course. The Course will address 4 prominent topics in the current legal scenario, they are “CURRENT ISSUES IN CONSTITUTIONAL LAW”, “NEW MARKET TRENDS AND DATA PROTECTION”, “CONTROL AND FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION” and “CAPITAL MARKET AND BUSINESS LAW”. The courses will be taught at the Institution, are aimed at undergraduate Law students and are free (limited places).

For Professor Vinicius Vasconcellos, who will teach one of the courses, this type of opportunity becomes a differentiator during the student's graduation. “The importance is to present current topics to undergraduate students, which are widely debated in doctrine, in the Courts and even by society in general, in a more in-depth and specific way, enabling a critical analysis of the Brazilian legal scenario”, explains the Professor.

Each course will be taught by two Professors and will last two days, one professor per day. Professor Doctor and Minister of the STF, Gilmar Mendes will teach the course “CURRENT ISSUES OF CONSTITUTIONAL LAW” alongside Master Professor and Legislative Consultant João Trindade Cavalcante, “NEW MARKET TRENDS AND DATA PROTECTION”, will be taught by Professor Doctor and Manager Public Laura Schertel and the Master in Law and Consultant for the Department of Consumer Protection, Ricardo Morishita, the course “ CONTROL AND FIGHT CORRUPTION”, will be taught by professor Doctor of Law and Editor-in-Chief of the Brazilian Journal of Criminal Procedural Law, Vinicius Vasconcellos and Doctor of Law and Minister of the STJ, Nefí Cordeiro. The last course “CAPITAL MARKET AND BUSINESS LAW” will be taught by the Master in Law and Director of the Ministry of Planning, Mauro Ribeiro and the Master in Law and Coordinator of the NPJ, Guilherme Leite.
