IDP launches Master's in Economics
IDP launched its professional master's degree in economics, public policies and development in December. The course seeks to provide master's students with a theoretical and practical formation in the areas of economics, finance, regulation and economic analysis of law, aiming to train professionals capable of aligning theoretical, methodological and practical knowledge so that they can contribute directly to their work areas, whether public or private institutions.
For the Coordinator of the Master's in Economics at IDP, José Luiz Rossi, the course seeks to train differentiated professionals. “ The master's degree will give students a difference in the job market, increasing their ability to work in different areas through deepening theoretical and practical knowledge. Furthermore, the IDP course has a curriculum updated with market demands, increasing its competitiveness”, explains the Professor.
The Program's teaching staff is made up of specialists who stand out professionally in their respective areas from both the private and public sectors, with teachers trained in some of the most renowned colleges in the world, such as the London School of Economics and Political Science (UK), Massachusetts Institute of Technology - MIT (USA), Yale University (USA), Berkeley University of California (USA) and Columbia University (USA).
The Master's degree lasts 24 months, classes take place on Fridays, in the afternoon/evening and on Saturday morning/afternoon, and the Program has 5 mandatory and 7 optional subjects among an extensive list offered to students, allowing the student to direct the course for your area of interest.
