Registration for the Professional Master's in Law at IDP is open until February 17th. The course seeks to analyze and debate current issues in legal sciences, emphasizing a methodology that addresses the study of cases and thus articulating theoretical knowledge with legal practice. Classes will begin on March 15, 2019.
The program has 4 areas of interest, they are: Contemporary Administrative Law: State and Market; Economic Criminal Law, Anti-Corruption and Compliance; Tax Law and Economic Development; and, finally, Company, Business and Consumer Law. In the disciplines of each area of interest, master's students will have access to debates and theoretical discussions related to advanced professional practice, thus meeting the contemporary demands of the market and society based on a solid academic construction.
The Professional Master's Degree in Law is essential for professionals who seek to deepen their studies without losing their career horizons. The program puts innovative theoretical trends and the challenges of the jurist's technical daily life into dialogue. Its great difference is the direction of academic research towards applied problems. Therefore, the methodologies used, such as case studies, are also innovative and seek to get closer to professional practice. The advantages of the Master's degree, in turn, are maintained: the program qualifies its graduates to teach in higher education courses and to compete for a doctorate, for example.
Furthermore, the teaching staff is made up of big names who stand out professionally in their respective areas, such as Doctor in Law and Judge at TJDFT, Marília de Ávila; the Doctor of Law and Minister of the Superior Court of Justice, Luiz Alberto Gurgel; and the Doctor of Law and Minister of the Superior Electoral Court, Tarcísio Vieira de Carvalho.
