IDP Master's student is the creator of a new FNDE laboratory
The student of the Master in Public Administration of IDP, Leomir de Araújo is the creator of the first Innovation Laboratory in Education in Brazil. The project operates in Brasilia, on the premises of the National Fund for Education Development - FNDE and began activities on November 20. The objective of the laboratory is to stimulate the innovation process among public servants, the idea is to have an environment where new endeavors can be tested for public management, the construction and expansion of efficiency, effectiveness and legitimacy of processes, services and policies public directed to society.
For Master, a graduate of IDP, the project was designed to help public servants. “The idea is that new ideas can be launched, prototypes and tested new solutions, admitting mistakes and starting over. It is a safe environment to create and design, without spending a lot of resources or making the public manager responsible. It is an instrument that admits error; as quickly and cheaply as possible,” explains the Server.
For Leomir, the project has three stages: “Fostering a culture of Innovation, through training, workshops, innovative project competitions and sharing of cases; Incubation, acceleration of Innovation projects using agile methodologies and Articulation and Governance, coordination of processes by an innovation management committee, creation of cooperation agreements with other entities and international organizations to exchange experience”, concludes the Master's student.
The IDP is proud to contribute to its students in the search for knowledge, leaving its faculty highly reputable available to students. Congratulations, Leomir! IDP is honored to be part of its history.
