IDP Opens Registration for its Doctorate
The IDP doctorate is registered for semester 2,2019. In the course, the doctoral student will have contact with the study of constitutional principles and their repercussions on other branches of law, contemplating research on fundamental rights, process and constitutional jurisdiction, proposing new interpretations on various areas of the right to light of constitutional principles.
According to the course Coordinator, João Paulo Bachur, the Doctorate is a big step for the academic and professional life of a jurist. “The Doctorate provides a very high level of academic qualification and opens doors to new professional paths. In addition, networking in the legal world is also provided for all legal operators, whatever their profession”, explains the academic.
The PhD at IDP has many features, such as:
1st - Pedagogical conception: we seek to understand and investigate the different branches of law based on the structuring role of constitutional law, always with the concern of contributing to the solution of concrete problems in the country
2nd - Methodology: the weekend format, with classes concentrated in fortnightly meetings on Fridays and Saturdays, allows the working professional to make professional practice compatible with an academic career.
3rd - Teaching staff: we have professors with an outstanding academic profile and work as ministers of higher courts, judges, judges, prosecutors and renowned lawyers, among them authors of reference works. All of this allows for high-level debates in the classroom.
4th - Internationalization: We regularly offer intensive courses abroad, giving master's and doctoral students who work professionally the possibility to experience, intensively, the international academic debate.
“All of this allows for very high-level debates”, concludes the Doctor.
