IDP opens applications for Social Scholarship 2.2019
IDP opens the registration for IDP Social Scholarship. The scholarship is intended for candidates approved at the IDP entrance exam and seek financial aid to attend graduation. Registration began last Tuesday, June 9.
For the coordinator of the social scholarship, Emilia Joana, it is a transformative opportunity in the student's life. ''The Social Scholarship offered by IDP presents itself as an opportunity that can transform the future of low-income students and contributes to the improvement of our educational mission, as we promote a social impact in the Federal District by promoting access to excellent legal education", concludes the teacher.
Student Kálita Tavares was one of the beneficiaries of the scholarship and tells a little about her experience. “I have always believed that education is the main driver of transformation in people's lives and I knew that this opportunity was unique. I studied at a public school and didn't have much guidance about Enem and other entrance exams. Even though I was completely sure of what I wanted, but with no prospect of starting college, I had the opportunity to apply for the social scholarship offered by IDP through a selection process”, explains the student.
She explains how the scholarship provides support to students seeking better study conditions. “The social scholarship was one of the greatest opportunities offered that I have ever achieved, it not only represents a scholarship, but it also made me believe that it is possible to achieve all my dreams, because I know that I am in the best place. IDP is a differentiated institution, it has quality teaching, high-level research and offers several opportunities for student growth and improvement", concludes the student.
The candidate must pass the specific selection process, which includes analysis of eligibility criteria, entrance exam score, academic record and interview with the admissions committee.
The candidate cannot have completed more than two semesters of the course at another college.
