IDP opens course in partnership with Professors from Universidade Nova de Lisboa
The IDP launches the course “Law of Personal Data Protection” in partnership with the Association of the Faculty of Law of the New University of Lisbon (Jurisnova). Classes are intended for undergraduate, postgraduate and masters students in all modalities that IDP offers. Registration will be until February 28, 2019 and the course will take place between April 15 and 18, 2019.
The course aims to provide students in-depth knowledge of constitutional and international elements , involving the themes of protection and processing of personal data in the European, North American and Brazilian context, as well as mechanisms for guaranteeing rights to protection, obligations and institutional data protection bodies.
Professors from both institutions will be teaching the course, they are: Professor Doctor Francisco Pereira Coutinho, Professor Master Graça Moniz, from the Faculty of Law of Universidade Nova de Lisboa and Professors Laura Mendes and Danilo Doneda, from the Master's Program in Law of the IDP.

It will be counted as an optional course of 40 hours (undergraduate, postgraduate and master's degrees).
