Full room, curious expressions and a sense of enlightenment. This was the result of the undergraduate Open Day , which IDP held last Tuesday (26). The event, which takes place every semester, was intended to open the institution's doors and invite the entire DF public to learn a little more about the excellent work that the institution delivers daily.

Professors, students and former students showed everything that happens at the Law Degree . From the experiences of each of them; including research projects, opportunities, exchanges and professional recommendations; to all the teachers' academic work, which is done together with the students, creating a completely different training journey, combined with comfort and well-being.

“Everything we hear at Open Day is what I heard every day”, says Law freshman Diogo Vilella, who in the last edition of the event was on the other side, when he was still unsure of which direction to take choose for your future. “It's unbelievable that 5 months ago I was sitting in this chair without imagining what I was going to go through. The IDP will help shape me as a person, but most importantly, it gives me a foundation to start my career.”

The Open Day is not just intended for university entrance exams or those still in high school. It also offers selection process options for 2nd Degree and External Transfers . This was the main reason why Flávia Ferreira sought out the IDP. Graduated in Nursing, the native of Brasilia said that the institution's difference is its excellence, not only in academics, but also in its relationships with students. “The service was very good. You really feel like a person present in here.”

The Open Day is not the only event where the external public learns a little more about the Law Degree or the IDP itself. There is also the IDP Experience and Current Affairs in Law , which aim to address contemporary issues with high school students and students from other faculties, respectively.

Muryel Moss, a 3rd year high school student, discovered the institution at one of these events. For him, experiencing the IDP Experience was essential for choosing Law as his degree. “I think everyone deserved an experience like this here. It met all my expectations,” he says.

According to Guilherme Leite, Coordinator of the Legal Practices Center and Master in Law, the IDP is open to all those who want to know more about the institution. “We have complementary activities almost every day, which welcome not only the internal public, but the external public as well. There are events, congresses, seminars, research groups and much more, welcoming all those who are interested”, concludes the professor.
