IDP is preparing the 3rd edition of the Job Fair, a mega legal careers fair that brings together large law firms from across the country and a program of lectures full of leading professionals in various areas of Law. The fair, which will take place this year on September 28th, aims to bring IDP students closer to the job market, enabling student interviews with offices across the country.

IDP's 8th semester Law student, Rodrigo Alencar, explains the importance of having participated in the previous edition of the Job Fair. “I found it to be a very valid and cool experience, not only because I got an internship, but also because it was an excellent chance for networking. I was able to visit several offices, different areas of activity and the lectures offered were super interesting”, comments the student.

In previous editions, the fair had more than 1,000 registered students, around 30 participating offices and hundreds of interviewed students. For one of the organizers of the initiative and coordinator of the Career Center, professor Raquel Cândido, the event is a great opportunity for students. “The Job Fair is an IDP initiative to bring the job market into the college and offer opportunities for students to have real experiences in the legal world. The experiences provided, such as going through interviews, meeting different offices and professionals who already have a successful track record, prepare the student for professional life, for the future. The fair makes students reflect on their goals, what they want to achieve after college and create this vision of the future for themselves. It is an innovative initiative, where we were pioneers in the Federal District, being unique in Brazil within the format we produce”, concludes the master.

Offices that are interested in participating can fill out the registration form that is now available on the website jobfair.edu.br . Interviews with the offices are exclusive to IDP students, but the lecture schedule is open to the public by registering on the website.
