IDP professor's research wins 2nd place in National Treasury Award 2019
Another IDP teacher had a recognized work at a national award. This time, Sérgio Gadelha, professor of the Professional Master in Economics, won the 2nd place in the 2019 National Treasury Award, with the research “Use of the Methodology of Combination of Predictions for projections of collecting primary federal tax revenues”. The competition is idealized by the National Treasury Secretariat and has the purpose of stimulating research in the area of public finance
In addition to Gadelha, the work also had co-participation from Alex Felipe Rodrigues Lima and Démerson André Polli. This is not the first time that the IDP professor has stood out for the award. In 2013, he won first place in the thematic area on Public Sector Economics.
The 2019 award had as its fiscal policy theme and growth, treasury management, transparency and public accounting and federal federalism: efficiency and equity and awarded researchers at $ 20,000, $ 10,000 and $ 5,000, according to the placement.
