IDP promotes Short Course on Corruption and Contemporary Criminal Controversies
IDP launches another short course, this time with the theme “Corruption and Contemporary Penal Controversies” will take place on July 10 and 11, Wednesday and Thursday, the course aims to address large operations, new legislative and administrative tools, and the changes in the jurisprudential understandings that expand the list of controversy over the control and combat of corruption in Brazil. The course is free and open to the public.
On the first day of the event, the theme “Award-Winning Collaboration” will be addressed, with Professor Doctor and Lawyer André Callegari, on the second day, IDP Master Professor and Lawyer Paulo Catta Preta will lecture on “Current Controversies Regarding the Crime of Corruption” .
Professor André explains the importance of studying this topic today. “The issue of collaboration has several points that have not yet been settled in the courts. There are discussions about the awards granted, the link to the approval of the agreement, the termination process, just to name a few examples. For these facts alone, students should already be interested in the topic. Because when acting, they must be aware of the legal reality that has been occurring in the formatting of these agreements”, comments the Doctor.
