IDP student of the Master's in Administration is the creator of a new ENAP project
The student of the Master in Public Administration and Prosecutor of the National School of Public Administration - ENAP, Daniel Catelli, is the creator of the school's new project, where he will interview great names linked infrastructure. The project aims to interview up to 10 experts to discuss concessions, licensing, public-private partnerships and logistics.
For the Project coordinator, Eduardo Paracencio, the project initiative will target the priority themes of the Federal Government in 2019. “Brazil lacks better infrastructure in several areas of the Economy, see the truck driver crisis we experienced this year, there is a strong trend of investments in railways with support from the BRICS bank. There is also a tendency to restructure current regulatory agencies with the merger of Antaq, ANTT and Anac. Therefore, our idea at Enap is to carry out 10 interviews with experts to promote debates about infrastructure in Brazil”, explains Eduardo.
The project is a means of making the public and private sectors reflect on their practices and how to improve them. “The project is basically to disseminate knowledge about public procurement, including in the area of infrastructure”, explains the Prosecutor.
The first program in the series is now available, the interviewee was Paul Procee, Coordinator of Infrastructure and Sustainable Development Operations at the World Bank in Brazil. In the interview, sustainable development and medium and long-term investments in Brazil were discussed. The next participants in the conversations will be Adalberto Santos de Vasconcelos, Special Secretary of the Investment Partnership Program Secretariat and Arthur Luis Pinho De Lima, Tenders and Contracts Manager at EPL.
We encourage our students to always pursue their goals, and that's why we are proud when we see projects coming off the ground and becoming reality. Congratulations, Daniel! IDP is proud to be part of its history.
