IDP student presents work in Coimbra
IDP's law degree student, Marta Battaglia Custódio presented, on November 9, 2018, her work on "Objective Responsibility of the State and the right to file a repair action directly against the public agent causing the damage" in II Luso-Brazilian Days of Civil Liability, organized by the Faculty of Law of the University of Coimbra.
According to Marta, the experience was enriching. “The Congress was quite rich. We had presentations from several renowned professors, both from Portugal and Brazil. Several panels were held throughout November 8th and the morning of November 9th, with qualified professionals. On the 9th, in the afternoon, researchers, doctoral students and academics in general presented their abstracts, thus promoting a fantastic experience, “ comments the Student.
For the undergraduate, the assistance of IDP professors was vital for the approval of the work in Congress. “To be able to write the work that was submitted to the event panel, I had the precious collaboration of all IDP professors, who helped in my training, but in particular I can mention the Professor of Civil Liability, Danilo Porfírio, the Professor of Law Administrative Marilda Silveira, Seminar II Professor, Atalá Correia, and Civil Procedure Professor, Janete Ricken”, comments Marta.
The Student says that for her the IDP is a suitable place to carry out her academic work. “I like writing and I always set the goal of publishing articles during my undergraduate studies and the investment that IDP makes in its students is stimulating for those who like to learn, want to have solid training and a good foundation to work in the job market, but also for those who want to pursue an academic life, do a postgraduate degree and a master’s degree”, concludes the graduate.
To participate in the Congress, the student received support from the Scientific Initiation and Research Support Program - Papin, which helped the student with the costs of the trip. It is with great joy that IDP congratulates the student for its performance in Congress. IDP is proud to be part of Marta's academic background and all its students.
