On June 9th and 10th, it took place at the Faculty Promotes and the Belo Horizonte City Council VI Open Minas. The debate championship held in Belo Horizonte, open to all debate societies in Brazil featured 120 debaters, 32 adjudors, 13 volunteers/organizers and 21 registered listeners.

The IDP Debate Society sent a delegation made up of 18 members, the following students were part of the SDIDP delegation, together with Professor Olívia Freitas: Tainara Borges, Bianca Lettieri, Marcelo Sarmento, Luiza Rodrigues Teixeira, João Gabriel Costa Alves, Alexandre , Ana Clara, Guilherme Lima, Flávia Taiane, Rodrigo Guedes, Natália Arume, Davi Marques-Novik, Cristiane Guedes, Gabrielle Farias, José Lima, Arthur Miranda and Renato Lima.

Student Flávia Taiane as president of SDIDP took the opportunity to invite all participants of the event to come to Brasilia to compete in the V Brazilian Debate Championship and the II Congress of Argumentation and Oratory, which will take place at IDP between September 5 and 09 .
